About

I am a Research Scholar at the National Institute of Technology Patna. I work as a Teaching Assistant and conduct Language Lab classes. I am working on Partition writings by Muslim women for my Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Dr Sukhdev Singh. My research interests include Memory Studies, Spatial Studies, Popular Culture, and Partition Writings.
Owing to my interest in Partition narratives, I have also worked as a Summer Intern for the Partition Museum, Amritsar (2018), where I collected oral narratives from Partition survivors in Bihar and researched how the partition changed the contours of the city of Patna.
I write poems in English, Hindi and Urdu. I was the featured poet in October 2016 edition of Ashvamegh. Some of my poems have been published in the Spring 2017 edition of BlazeVox . I have been invited to recite her poems in Hindi and Urdu at various Kavi Goshti by local literary organisations like Chorus, Commonplace, Patna Book Fair etc.
